The most obvious turning point in the development strategy of PETROSETCO was in 2007, when the company was officially listed on HOSE and entered the technology product distribution market. Then, since 2009, the restructuring plan and business plan have been implemented drastically, which has created a remarkable change in both revenue, profit and employees’ income. PETROSETCO has quickly restructured the service segments and the affiliated units which have not operated effectively, added key services such as real estate management, supply of specialized equipment and logistics services, re-oriented the strategy, increased the scale, expanded the market and category for catering and distribution services; importantly many senior leadership positions have been appointed to improve the operational efficiency of the business. In addition to regular restructuring work, PETROSETCO focuses on building strong relationships with existing customers and partners, constantly improving service quality and expanding relationships with new partners to find new business opportunities.
From 2010 until now is also a period of stable development of PETROSETCO with annual revenue reaching over 9,852 billion VND. The average revenue in the period 2015 - 2022 reached over 12,616 billion VND, the growth rate reached 6.5%/year. In particular, during the most difficult period of the "double crisis" - 2020 and 2021 - PETROSETCO set a record growth of 34% and 31% respectively over the same period last year with record sales of 17,598 billion VND thanks to growth in the ICT distribution segment- the company's strength. In 2022, PETROSETCO first appeared in the list of 50 best listed companies in Vietnam voted by Forbes magazine. In 2023, PETROSETCO was ranked 36/500 Top private enterprises and 82/500 Top largest enterprises in Vietnam (Vietnam Report).
The restructuring work associated with business efficiency to ensure workers' lives and incomes has been increasingly improved. During difficult periods which were heavily affected by the pandemic and the economic recession, PETROSETCO employees still have been guaranteed jobs, and stable and yearly increasing incomes. The year 2023 marks the 27th anniversary of PETROSETCO. In the context of complicated and unpredictable market movements with many potential risks in all aspects, PETROSETCO continues to face many difficulties and challenges. However, the collective of PETROSETCO and employees will always unite to form a unified block to continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, conquer new heights, keep the trust of customers, partners, shareholders, and rise to become “the first choice” in Vietnam in the field of distribution, trade and services.
