In 2019, PETROSETCO continued to operate with four main business segments: distribution, supply chain services, catering services, and property management services, which are operated by subsidiaries such as PSA; PSV; PSMT; POTS; PSL; PSD; Smartcom; PHTD.
Facing complicated market fluctuations, each member of PETROSETCO still show their best efforts on each step forward. During the year, PSA strongly expanded market to provide services outside the oil and gas industry; PSV has achieved many new Catering service contracts; PSMT continued to bring PETROSETCO PETGAS brand to Western consumers; POTS overcame a very difficult year; PSL has enhanced service capacity; PSD and Smartcom kept expanding distribution market; PHTD gradually developed the market share of mobile phone distribution.
With persistent efforts, PETROSETCO has achieved results going above and beyond expectation: Consolidated revenue is estimated at 10,187 billion Dong, as 113% of the plan; Consolidated profit before tax is estimated at VND 203.6 billion, equal to 113% of the plan; the State budget contribution is estimated at 514 billion Dong, as 145% of the plan; average income of an employee is estimated at 12.2 million VND / person / month, equal to 105% of the plan which increases 5% compared to the same period of 2018.
In addition to these proud results, the most valuable thing of PETROSETCO today is to have built a team of enthusiastic and dedicated staffs who dare to face all challenges. Facing the mission, every person of PETROSETCO has chosen hope over fear, choosing drastically instead of dodging, choosing dedicated and the desire to succeed in each of service areas. With that bravery, in that environment, PETROSETCO staff has been trained to be stronger, more determined to make PETROSETCO mightier in the near future.
PETROSETCO’s Chairman- Mr Phung Tuan Ha once affirmed “PETROSETCO always considers people as the most valuable asset. Therefore, in the context of a sharp decline in oil prices during a long period of time, many businesses face difficulties, many people are unemployed, PETROSETCO's Board of Directors (BOD) still find al the best ways to ensure jobs for employees with average income 12.2 million dong / person / month; activities to take care of the spiritual life of employees such as culture, arts and sports have been improved. This shows the responsibility and great effort of the Corporation's BOD in ensuring employment and taking care of workers' lives.
At Labor Conference, after approval of 2019 performance results and the implementation of 2020 plan, the Board of Directors of PETROSETCO have rewarded many department, subsidiaries and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements and valuable contributions to Production labor emulation movement in 2019 of the Corporation. This valuable and material recognition has contributed to the fire of trust and motivation for all of PETROSETCO’s employees that keep striving and uniting with the Board of Directors of the Corporation overcomes all difficulties and challenges on the path to become the leading professional general service provider in Vietnam.
