PSD - Petroleum General Distribution Services Joint Stock Company

Petroleum General Distribution Services Joint Stock Company (PSD) is a subsidiary of PETROSETCO, specializes in telecommunication and IT equipment distribution.

History

In April 2007 PETROSETCO signed Memorandum with Nokia Corporation and established Branch of PetroVietnam Telecom (PV Telecom);
In April 2008, Petroleum General Distribution Services Company Limited (PSD) was established by inheriting PV Telecom.
In July 2008, PSD became one of authorized distributors of ACER laptops in Vietnam market. Within 2008, PSD became authorized distributor of Dell, HP, Lenovo, Emachines & Gateways laptops in Vietnam market.
In February 2010, PSD became the distributor of some famous brands of accessories such as HDD of Adata, Kingston, Kingmax; Genius mouse, ram of Elixir and Kingston; Samsung printer; Chip AMD, 3M Filter Screen, Asus mainboard, and Huawei USB 3G…
In October 2010, PSD became the unique distributor of Nokia in the South from Da Nang and within 3 western provinces as well as the distributor of Dell, Acer, eMachines, Kingston and Kingmax.
In June 2011 PSD became the sole distributor for Fujitsu products in Vietnam.
In July 2011 PSD was equitized and became Petroleum General Distribution Services Joint Stock Company.
In April 2012, PSD became the authorized distributor for ZyXEL products in Vietnam.
In July 2012, PSD became the authorized partner for Samsung mobiles in Vietnam.
In July 2012, PSD became the authorized distributor for Lenovo products in Vietnam.
In September 2012, PSD was officially appointed to be Dell's distributor in Project segment.
In November 2012, PSD started distributing smart-toys originally imported from Germany.
In April 2013 PSD became the authorized distributor for Otter Box in Vietnam.
In June 2013, Stock market launching (IPO) with stock code: PSD.
In September 2013 became authorized distributor of Microsoft for tech-solutions and products in Vietnam and Laos. In this year, PSD became the authorized distributor for Olympus and Cyber Power products in Vietnam.
In January 2014 PSD became the authorized distributor for Cyber Power in Vietnam.
Since 2017 Binh Minh Electronics and Refrigeration Joint Stock Company (BMD) has officially became a member of PSD. BMD is currently the official distributor in Vietnam with electronic products - household appliances of famous brands around the world such as Whirpool, Candy, Pensonic, SK Magic, Cuchen, Galanz.
January 2018: distribute ViewSonic screens.
May 2020: PSD officially became an authorized distribution partner of Apple's ipad, macbook, and imac products in Vietnam market.
January 2021: PSD became the first Distributor in the DPP project - Distributor Partner Program of Apple in Vietnam market.

PSD won the Best Financial Indicator Award by the Enterprise Research and Development Institute in 2016, 2017.
The title of Excellent Labor Collective in the emulation movement to perform tasks and plans in 2016 and 2017 awarded by PetroVietnam General Services Corporation.
Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2018.
Dell's Best Growth Distributor of FY18 award in 2018. Dell's Best Distributor Award in 2018 for LCD products.

August 2020: PSD received the AMD APAC PARTNER AWARD 2020.
June 25, 2021: PSD received Dell's The Best Transformational Partner Of The Year award.
June 29, 2021: PSD received the award for Best Performance Distributor - FY2021 from Lenovo.
In 2021: PSD entered the top 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam.
