(PetroTimes) – On Jun 28, Petroleum General Distribution Services Joint Stock Company (PSD) was officially listed on the HNX under the ticker PSD at an initial price 60,000VND/share with 14,222,700 shares.
Attending at the event of listing PSD, there are Mr. Tran Van Dung - chairman and General Director of Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX); Mr. Nguyen Anh Phong – Vice General Director of HNX; Mr. Phung Tuan Ha – General Director of PET; Mr. Nguyen Tien Duong – Vice General Director of PET and chairman of PSD; Mr. Huynh Van Thi- Director of PSD; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung – Vice Director of PSI.

Petroleum General Distribution Services Joint Stock Company currently is a Petrosetco (HOSE:PET) subsidiary. Annually, PSD contributes approximately 60% of sales and 50% of profit for PET.
Mr. Vu Tien Duong- Vice General Director of Petrosetco and Chairman of PSD said “We would like to bring new potential choice for investors. PSD, in turn, would experience advantages since being listed”.
In a speech at the listing event, Mr. Nguyen Anh Phong- Vice General Director of HNX said, today (28 Jun 2013) is the 1898th trading day of HNX. Listing PSD helps total market capital of HNX up to VND 87,000 billion with 389 listed companies.
In 2012, total revenue of PSD is VND5,520bn, net profit after tax (NPAT) VND101bn, NPAT/charter capital ratio 84.2%, dividend/ charter capital ratio 78%. In 2013, PSD estimates total revenue will be VND6,651bn, gross profit VND454.2bn, NPAT VND113bn, expected dividend/ charter capital ratio is 60%.

PSD has its own distribution system throughout the country with a professional working spirit, and dedication to good service which is convenient for transport and distribution as well as customer services effectively. Currently, PSD has 11 affilates in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Vinh, Danang, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Hochiminh, Dac Lac, Gia Lai, Tien Giang, Can Tho. In 2012, the company had experienced many changes in its business model: establishing a project team belonging to IT trading Department mainly in charge for distribution to business; developing retail segment for smart toys.
At this time, PSD has three main business activities: mobile equipments, IT products and other accessories.
Mobile equipment: PSD is currently the only distributor for Samsung in Vietnam (along with Samsung Vietnam) with some of Samsung products such as: mobile phone, tablet, camera, printer, computer, advertising LCD, etc.
IT products: PSD is a distributor for most of famous tech-brands such as Dell, HP, Acer, Lenovo, Gateway, Fujitsu.
Other accessories: PSD distributes accessories for mobile phones, computers, IT products, electronic components and smart toys.
